We cordially invite you to the third annual Summer School of Jagiellonian Uniwersity Extension – a week of development for all professionals working with people, teams and organizations. The Summer School is an opportunity to meet colleagues from diverse backgrounds in order search for inspiration and new perspectives together.
This time the main topic of the School is the dynamic of group relations. Its key event is a four-day workshop entitled „Making the Difference: understanding how groups and organizations work”, and led by consultants of British organization OPUS.
A four-day programme is based on group relations approach to learning, used worldwide in seminars addressed to leaders, trainers, coaches and consultants who work with organizations.
The participants will have an intense experience of dynamic processes in both small and large groups. They will focus on what is happening “beneath the surface” of observed behaviour.
Understanding deeper mechanisms influencing actions of teams and whole organizations will lead participants to a more informed and flexible approach to leadership and supporting development. They will become more competent in answering to the needs of groups they interact with.
§ Managers will understand the extent and scope of their influence on the organization the organization’s influence on them.
§ Consultants will become more skilful in diagnosing developmental needs and predicting effectiveness of implementing a desired change.
§ Trainers will learn how to interpret behaviours and actions of individuals through the context of group needs and processes.
§ All participants will deepen the self-awareness of their habitual patterns of relating to others in a group context.
