We cordially invite you to the third annual Summer School of Jagiellonian Uniwersity Extension – a week of development for all professionals working with people, teams and organizations. The Summer School is an opportunity to meet colleagues from diverse backgrounds in order search for inspiration and new perspectives together.

This time the main topic of the School is the dynamic of group relations. Its key event is a four-day workshop entitled „Making the Difference: understanding how groups and organizations work”, and led by consultants of British organization OPUS.

A four-day programme is based on group relations approach to learning, used worldwide in seminars addressed to leaders, trainers, coaches and consultants who work with organizations.

The participants will have an intense experience of dynamic processes in both small and large groups. They will focus on what is happening “beneath the surface” of observed behaviour.

Understanding deeper mechanisms influencing actions of teams and whole organizations will lead participants to a more informed and flexible approach to leadership and supporting development. They will become more competent in answering to the needs of groups they interact with.

§ Managers will understand the extent and scope of their influence on the organization the organization’s influence on them.

§ Consultants will become more skilful in diagnosing developmental needs and predicting effectiveness of implementing a desired change.

§ Trainers will learn how to interpret behaviours and actions of individuals through the context of group needs and processes.

§ All participants will deepen the self-awareness of their habitual patterns of relating to others in a group context.

Zjazd Absolwentów Szkoły Trenerów

3 o maja 2009, w ramach Wiosennych Dni Rozwoju odbędzie się spotkanie absolwentów Szkoły Trenerów Wszechnicy UJ. Głównym celem spotkania jest prezentacja kierunków rozwoju warsztatu trenerskiego oraz możliwości integracji trenerów we współpracy z Wszechnicą UJ.

Główne elementy programu to:

Spotkanie informacyjne – współpraca i integracja
Prezentacja możliwości współpracy z Wszechnicą UJ oraz integracji środowiska trenerskiego w skali lokalnej i międzynarodowej.
•    Powitanie: spotkanie po latach, czyli losy absolwentów ST
•    Szkoła Letnia wszechnicy UJ
•    Projekty szkoleniowe dla trenerów dofinansowane z EFS
•    Baza trenerów Wszechnicy UJ
•    Międzynarodowa sieć trenerów – Euro trainers.

Warsztat certyfikacyjny
Spotkanie jest pierwszym etapem certyfikacji kompetencji trenerskich Wszechnicy UJ. Osobom, które wezmą udział w spotkaniu przysługuje 400 złotych zniżki na udział w pełnym procesie certyfikacyjnym.

O Wszechnicy UJ

Wszechnica UJ jest pozawydziałową jednostką działalności podstawowej Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Powstała po to, by udostępniać potencjał intelektualny Uniwersytetu w postaci efektywnych form, metod i narzędzi kształcenia przez całe życie (ang. lifelong learning).

Wróżnilismy i opisaliśmy 6 profili zawodowych wchodzących w zakres ksztłacenia przez całe życie: trenera, coacha, asesora, konsultanta, projektanta i menedżera projektów szkoleniowych oraz prowadzimy własną praktykę szkoleniową.

W tym roku rusza pierwsza edycja procesu certyfikacyjnego dla trenerów, opartego na skonstruowanym na podstawie Europejskich Standardów Kwalifikacyjnych profilu trenera.

Training and coaching skills – courses are eligible for support through Grundtvig grants

I write to invite you to consider participating in one of two comprehensive courses prepared by the Jagiellonian University Extension: Training skills for lifelong learning professionals and Coaching skills for lifelong learning professionals. The courses contribute to personal and professional development of participants, allowing them to enhance a set of skills related to adult learning and coaching methodology. Both courses are eligible for support through Grundtvig grants.
