A new workshop project on VET teachers and trainers has been launched recently with duration of 12 months. The aim of the project is to organise 6 workshops, each of which should bring together practitioners and experts from 3-6 different countries to address and discuss specific topics related to the training and practice of VET teachers and trainers. While the workshops will focus on findings, conclusions and recommendations of so far conducted studies in the area of VET teachers and trainers, about half of the each workshop will be dedicated to identify and address new topics and major issues of concern.

Each workshop will involve about 30 participants, who combine policy makers, researchers, experts and practitioners. Translation will be provided as necessary, but to ensure that local experts and practitioners can participate in their national languages. One major objective is to involve participant who are not typically involved at international level and discussion forums.

More information on the detailed planning of the workshops will follow soon.
