This international conference provides opportunities to discuss latest research in the fields of learning and professional development, such as:

- vocational education and training in schooling and working life contexts;
- theories and methodologies for the study of professional learning and development;
- constraints and affordances of professional learning;
- promotion and development of professional competencies;
- professional careers and work identities;
- assessment and evaluation of learning processes and outcomes.
Researchers in workplace learning, human resource development and vocational and higher education as well as students, teachers and practitioners are all welcomed to attend and to discuss current issues in this fields.
