My name is Silvia Weiß and I live and work in Vienna, Austria. I came into this project as a staff member of the Institute for Research on Qualifications and Training of the Austrian Economy (ibw- Institut für Bildungsforschung der Wirtschaft). My main tasks at this institute are science and development concerning vocational education and training.
I have already worked in European Union – projects, like e-LOPA, which was implementing an e-learning platform, e-portfolios for students in courses which prepare adults of their final examination (”Berufsreifeprüfung” – an Austrian specific education). Beside I also worked a long time as teacher of migrants or disabled persons.
